3 new home cards

I’ve made myself a new rubber stamp for a new home card I wanted to make for my friend. I thought I’d make a batch of them. I might have to have a rethink about the writing for future batches as I’m not entirely happy with it on any of them, but I do like the top part of the design.

  1. These are really neat cards. How did you do the house backgrounds? I can’t tell if it’s patterned paper, or washi tape. The houses are super cute too 🙂

    • Thanks very much 🙂 The background is washi tape. I carved a stamp and printed it one 2 types of patterned paper and then cut out the roof from the red and the house and chimney from the white spotted paper and joined them all together. I used matching washi tape, from one of the DoCrafts capsule collections. I keep thinking I have lots of lovely papers which I never use and washi tape too, so I used some! 🙂 I think I would go for more simple writing next time though.
